More France Pics

I Thought this was a pretty neat church. Even the clock was made of wood...

I think the little cafe's are awesome.

This may just look like a neat little sidewalk but, believe it or not this is how most of the streets in France look. They keep such good care of everything there. All the bushes are always trimmed and there is never any trash on the ground......Its nice to see for a change

France

Ive got to be honest. France so far has been the most beautiful place Ive gotten to visit in the time in the military. The land is gorgeous and the cottages make almost every location a picture perfect place.

And God said let there be rain...

On Saturday it ended up pouring down rain all day long. There was an unbelievable amount of flooding and of course I had to go have some fun in Charlotte (My truck). The area in the picture happens to be the road i was driving on. It was close to 3 feet deep in the middle. Not a problem for my truck though.

Becker Bk2

This is my Becker Bk2. Its a all purpose survival/bushcraft knife. By far its probably the best fixed blade knife I have ever owned. Its a massive quarter inch thick and approx. 5 and a half inch long blade. Being that big of a knife it can still do the little things such as firesticks as you can see in the picture. I added on the upgraded micarta scales which are awesome. The knife was designed by a guy named Ethan Becker. He also helped write a book called The Joy of Cooking.

Hiking

This is a little piece of ground that is close to home and yet i can still get away for a couple hours and hear nothing but the sound of the wilderness. my own little get away...
